Research to Impact mid-year cohort is now open!

Research to Impact is not a one-off workshop series. It is a 12-month implementation program where teachers learn the research, see high-impact strategies demonstrated with real students, and receive coaching and feedback as they embed those strategies in their own classrooms.

After each of the four workshops, the Shaping Minds team works directly in participating schools to model key practices, support implementation, and provide practical, actionable feedback. Teachers are not left to “go away and try it”. They see what effective practice looks like, apply it in their own context, and refine their delivery with ongoing support.

Professional learning that includes high-impact teaching research, demonstrations and coaching.

Location
Workshops are held at The Hub, Bentley (Perth). Follow-up school visits take place on-site at participating schools.

Start Date
The 2026 mid-year cohort begins on 26 August 2026.

Duration
This is a 12-month program, designed to support sustained implementation and real change in classroom practice.

Format
The program is structured across three core components:

• Workshops to build knowledge and introduce high-impact instructional strategies
• Live classroom demonstrations where Shaping Minds consultants model strategies with real students
• Instructional coaching and feedback to support teachers as they embed and refine their practice

Investment
$2,500 + GST per teacher
Minimum of 4 teachers per school
School leaders and admin attend at no additional cost
