Research to Impact Online

Our Research to Impact course has been transformed into a professionally filmed and edited online video course that many of our regional and eastern state’s schools choose to use. We still travel vast distances to visit schools for coaching and demonstrations, but this option helps some schools to better access the course. We also offer this to any teachers who miss live workshops, which is a popular contingency with schools. Courses can be customised to include elements of both face-to-face and online delivery to suit the needs of schools we work with. Get in touch to find out more.

One of the standout features of Shaping Minds PL is that it's grounded in proven educational research and best practice. The combination of ongoing demonstrations, coaching and easily applied high impact teaching strategies enables teachers to be well equipped and confident to implement these in the classroom. By identifying leaders from within our cluster of small schools to take part in the Instructional Coaching PL, we have ensured that the impact of the PL continues long after the initial training. Jordan, Jarred and Brooke provide outstanding workshops on the theory of the science of learning, along with practical application. Jarred's enthusiasm had me hooked from the get-go and Brooke's demonstrations of early childhood strategies are engaging and exciting. Jordan responds quickly to all queries and has happily applied a flexible approach to the professional learning and coaching sessions in order to meet the needs of our school. The learning my staff have engaged in with Shaping Minds has made real change to the ways they teach and we have seen improved student results. Jordan and Jared have an outstanding ability to engage staff in the science of learning through their entertaining presentation style.  Their exceptional, current knowledge combined with practical examples and lived experience make for a highly informative and valuable learning experience for all staff. Jordan and Jared have been able to tailor professional learning to the needs of my staff and school.  Most recently and in response to my request, we were provided with a training video to develop the ability of our staff to deliver effective Spelling Mastery lessons.  The video has been highly beneficial and staff feedback has indicated that the practical demonstrations and delivery tips have been extremely useful.
